The DriveLetterView tool allows to view and change drive letter assignments in your system even if drives are not currently plugged. The nice GUI shows all local drives, remote network shares, DVD drives and USB drives.
Helpful in case of USB device in conflict with other existing drives or if you want remove USB devices that you don’t use anymore. To change the drive letter of USB device or remote network drive, simply select the desired drive letter and use the ‘Change Drive Letter’ option (F9).
